Client asset tag reporting

At AllSafe IT, we use asset tags to help us identify the hardware that we support. The asset tag is a blue rectangular sticker that displays a barcode as well as a unique 6-digit number. This 6-digit number is your asset tag number.

Asset Tag Placement

If we have provided you with an asset tag label to apply to a device, please refer to diagram below to determine where it should be placed:

Asset Tag Application

1. Make sure the area where the asset tag is to be placed is clean and dry.
2. Apply the asset tag to the device, making sure not to cover any air vents.
3. Take a photo of the device with the asset tag applied.
